Used all over weekend and performed perfectly
Used it mainly in normal driving mode no problem
However, weather was bad on Sunday so to get up a snow covered and icy hill locally I did use the snow setting and it went up easily - first time used that setting and obviously it starts in a higher gear and the throttle response is reduced which feels odd at first

Using the rear wheel drive Skyline today and oh my god what a nightmare - could hardly get up my road without doing some drift action, which was fun

Even had trouble getting the door open as the window was stuck to the rubbers despite using the old trick of putting vaseline on the seals - and who said lubricating your rubbers is a good idea

Here's mine at the top car park of Moel Famau, not a hard drive up there but there was only really 4x4's up there. It got up there in high range and normal road mode. Used a bit of hill decent on the way out though just to give that a try.

However I wish you all the luck in the world saying it...  It is what it is and I am what I am....

Maybe buy the RRS first, then if she tells you to pack your bags, you've somewhere nice to sleep in...

Thing is, I've been moving nurses about last few days, and one of them couldn't get 4x4 help so went out in her BMW and according to her colleagues, managed just fine except for a couple of "moments".

Either BMWs are better than people think, or the conditions didn't really warrant a 4x4 being used

I really don't get what the problem is with BMWs though, I have driven my sierra cosworth and TVR chimaera in all weathers, never got stuck, never found a ditch. BMW traction control too eager maybe ? I reckon most people are either too scared because it's rear wheel drive and tense up rather than relax, or just not got enough skill or finesse.
