United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Went shopping at 8:30am this morning, hardly anyone about - mine was the only car leaving my end of the road all day. Some neighbours walked to the shops since their cars couldn't get up the hill.

My RRS with Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme's is seemingly unstoppable though, amazing grip. Cool Current car: Porsche 911 Carrera S PDK (997.2) Past Car: (MY12) Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6 - Orkney Grey with Almond interior
Bike:Ducati Monster 1100 EVO

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Same as really. Went about my normal day to day business as if it was normal Tarmac not snow and ice.
To be honest we didn't have to much of the white stuff.
Didn't get to test any special terrain settings. More snow predicted next few days hoping for few more inches to get really stuck in.

England

Just got back from my boys swimming lesson of which I was looking forward too, not for the swimming though......The Car Park Very Happy

After seeing the usual BMW's, Zafira's & Mercs abandoned on the road side I sailed straight past onto the car park which was half compacted snow where others had failed and half fresh snow where only a few had dared!

Needless to say I opted for the fresh stuff in snow mode and parked right at the other end in what could only be described as the show offs corner, just me, a Navara & a couple of freelanders, then casually walked to the door spinning my car keys on my finger for added effect Cool

I do love my sport Very Happy

I find HDC a little unnerving going down hills, taking your foot off the brake did freak me out, but used to it now ! Why?.. Because i can....

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Stopping is the only issue sometimes but am on normal SUV tyres not M+S or Winter. Trying to stop coming down the steep hill to the main road was "fun" the first time - wasn't going fast at all but 2.7ton of RRS needs a bit of grip. Stopped 15ft from main road fortunately! Next time I used low range and that was fine with HDC though the guy waiting at the botton of the hill to come up was getting impatient... Getting up the hill was fine Smile
