S'no'w Action

Come on guys..As a 'not-yet' RRS owner and my feeling very sad that i haven't got one yet given all this snow and bad weather, I thought you lot would be uploading loads of action pics and videos for us 'non-owners' to drool over...

Get to it...

TBH we've only had about an inch in West Yorkshire, but that's enough to make things interesting. I was out earlier walking the dog (Doberman and she LOVES the snow) we walked passed a house with a FFRR on the drive. The street they lived on was a decent mixture of severe inclines and I said to SWMBO "I can't believe they've got a full fat and they're sat in the house in weather like this"...

...Two minutes later it came hooning past us, not having a problem at all!!

Bow down

Mine went into the snow early on...all fine, but it's been tucked up in the extreme snow and I've been using the disco, mainly because my wife's cars in front of it etc etc

Did a little snow off roading to keep my hand in so the dogs could go for a walk on our own in the snow... Mike

Nothing too extreme but the old man borrowed it after his Saab got stuck at the bottom of my street

OK ... very little snow here and we only had a few spare minutes on our way but still managed to record a bit. Would have liked to try something more exciting but avoided due to inexperience with snow and shortage of time Laughing

The incline was grass covered with snow. First attempt to climb was in high range and very quickly realised it wasn't getting anywhere. Backed up, put in low range and Thumbs Up Didn't even have to turn the DSC off.

Also had the pleasure to try it on a few somewhat steep and untreated roads and a car park with compacted snow and ice. Mercs and BMWs had their wheels spinning but the RRS just started off every time as if on dry tarmac, even with a heavy foot in high range. ABS was kicking in seemingly unnecessarily on those surfaces. Didn't need any special terrain response settings there. I do have Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtremes on 19" wheels though which could have compensated for any incompetence.
