My bmw 330cd was absolutely hopeless last winter. Even with lots of weights in boot it couldn't find traction! RRS TDV8 HST

I've driven 2wd sierra cosworth and TVR chimaera in the snow, those were fun, never lost them or got stuck though.

My C Class is having a holiday tucked up in the garage. It is hopeless in snow & ice.

have to say never had a problem with the bmw just a bot of fore thought few bags of sand in boot and couple psi out the tyres and turned of traction control was sorted and that was on summer tyres
i did however see a bloke yesterday on a motor bike out in it all he looked ok but still rather him than me lol
off to test out the new grabbers in a min and find god son (yes and me and the other big kids) some decent sledging spots

my mate was having probs in his merc till turned the traction off and been lot better only the dead truely know peace,
Bootneck its not a job its a way of life!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black

We have had a good 6 inches of snow during the last week, i've been useing my Audi quattro all week with the RRS covered in snow on the drive, decided to clean it off and use it today we had a load more snow today while at work, with the roads well covered going home the RRS has plenty of traction, stopping it you realise it is a heavy old lump, I have to say the Audi is awesome in bad conditions and I'm so glad I didn't sell it when I bought the RRS, still snowing so Audi tommorrow.
