Been on a 200 mile round trip, and saw 3 Sports, and 11 D3s. D3s are definetly getting more common! Hello to you if you were in mid to north Wales today! (BTW, 2 of the sports were Java, and 1 Bonatti) 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

I'm surprised about there being loads of Sports there. I hardly see any! I would say I probably see about one a week, and thats usually the same one! 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

I see most of them in Edinburgh -- I work there. FFRRs are all over the place in Edinburgh. The RRS is not nearly as numerous as FFRR but there's still a fair number of them about. Had seen only two or three (seriously!!) D3s in Edinburgh until somewhere between four and six months ago when all of a sudden there was a lot more of them. Andy, There are quite a few round Bridgnorth area - its just the law of averages though I think as nearly 1 in 3 cars are 4x4's here anyway - so figures that the RRS numbers are more common Kaine |

Just looking through some photos I took today, and realised I only saw 2 Sports, the black one I saw once in Bala, and then saw it again 30 miles later in Barmouth, thats what I call a coincidence! 2002 Discovery Adventurer LE

I'm sure no one meant to offend anyone here. The comment about the brick on wheels, well, you've got to admit, the RRS is definetly more stream lined then the D3, not that that makes the D3 a bad car. Anyway, I'm sure it was meant as a joke. Underneath the RRS and D3 are both the same car, and are both brilliant in different ways.

one thing I have learnt from years on various car forums, is dont take posts too seriously - some people tend to use smilies (which help) others dont (which sometimes can be confusing) however most seemingly nasty comments are 99% of the time, meant in jest - IMHO

They are your opinions that’s fine. The salient point is please keep the negativity (mocking or not) away from the forums. There are plenty of people out there attacking the 4x4 community we need to stick together. I am sick of trying to defend why I drive a 4x4 and now it’s getting tiresome defending my model choice to a community that should be supportive of the entire LR portfolio. Each person on this & other forums have made their own informed choice of vehicle support them don’t mock them as that’s what the antis really want
