United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport SDV6 SE Rimini Red

Hi,

I had the same number of messages pop up on mine but I did change track rod ends on mine and once the 4 wheel alignment had been done, the messages disappear.

I was told there are steering angle sensors etc and if these are way off, these messages will pop up.

I hope you get sorted soon

Thanks Lee, very helpful. This may sound like a basic question but where is the foot brake switch located?

The switch is under the dash near the brake pedal. If you pull the panel away under the steering column with the vent in, it will give you a clear view, a simple turn of 90 degrees and it's out I think.

Just a point, be carefully pulling panels in the cold weather as the plastic clips can easily break.

Had same problem on mine. It was brake light switch on its way out but brake lights were still working fine. I had it fixed at specialist who plugged his machine in and then charged me £100 for a £10 part and took him 5 minutes to put in.

Hello I just replayed to a similar topic, I had this problem on my 57 plate rrsport thats covered 50k

I have been fighting with the garage for weeks, I am not convince that its fixed but the car drives better and I have had no problems in the 100 miles I have covered so far.

The told me that my car did this because the fuel pump was not letting enough fuel through, so the car started turning special programs off, lowered it self and started breaking. mine did all the same as yours and displayed the same messages. fingers crossed its fixed but it could be the egr valve too.

I am not sure 100% if its fixed but the car is so much better to drive.

hope this helps
