Pressed the key on the remote this morning and just a clunk/whir but no opening. Then tried to lock the car but a warning bleep. Then tried to open the tailgate using the dash button, same thing.

Had to haul it open manually and then push it shut!!

Any ideas how to get it working again  MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE

Start the engine and try again, may be the battery is low.

Common problem, it might only do it every so often but there is a fix for it, just get intouch with your dealer and they will put it right for you. It needs a software update.

Cheers guys, I'll go and see a local Stealer and see what they have to say. I'm due to book a "first" service in the next month or so, so it will give me a good chance to see how they respond and to get an indication of pricing. Does anyone have any thoughts about main dealers in the south Birmingham area ?? MY12 RRS SDV6 HSE

With all MY13 woes I'm using Colliers Erdington who, to be fair are giving an averagely decent account of themselves.
