Hi all - I'm new here and to RRS ownership - just taken delivery of 2007 RRS 4.2 s/c (34k miles). Always had Discos and Shoguns before. Found this forum last night and REALLY impressed! Any help with 2 niggles on my new RRS appreciated...

1) The tilt warning light comes on intermittently, sometimes amber, occasionally red. I have read the manual and understand the difference between amber and red, but the dealer (Hunters Guildford) say they can't find any logged error codes. Of course when they had the car it behaved perfectly! Not sure if it's linked, but I thought I could see the car leaning very slightly left when viewed from behind on flat ground. Seems to be level now and the warning has not occurred for a few days (I may have imagined the left lean but thought it was ?)
2) After start and for first 10 minutes the engine has a fairly loud squeak - sounds like an old fashioned slipping fan belt. Dealer tells me there is a supercharger belt bracket which needs removing and grinding. Sound sensible?

There was a TSB relating to the squeak. IIRC, it involves removing a bracket, and filing a bit off...

Yes, a TSB concerning " Audible 'Chirp' on Cold Start" issued early 2009 advises modifying the fan pulley bracket... Malaysia Boleh!
