2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

key battery changed on 2010 RRS....now doesn't work at all

Replaced the battery on my key after low battery warnimg light appeared. Now nothing works at all.....thought maybe I bought a dead battery, so i bought a couple more....and still nothing....
am i missing a step...do you just not replace the battery, do you have to program anything after?

Im not sure, but don't you have to change the battery within a certain amount of time, else you'll bed to reprogramme the key ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
