Not tried these, but from experience with diesel cars the exhausts are designed to point down for a reason & unless you keep your car spotless at all times the rear end will be covered in diesel muck and you will be cursing the things everyting you get something out if the boot and brush against it with clothing and get it on your hands when closing the lid etc.

Have you thought of fitting the tail pipes from a later model that don't have the curved down bit.

Or fit a performance exhaust

I thought about it but need to lower the cost. A quick add and remove would be perfect.
Expensive for the later model pipes? RRS 2006 2.7 HSE

Looks good, but read the tekst:
The exhaust gasses still pass through the original tailpipe and point to the ground.

Im looking for tailpipes where the smoke goes out of the new tailpipes:) not down. RRS 2006 2.7 HSE

I must admit, I have been tempted to chop the ends of mine off and add a couple of chrome pipes out the rear end, however my car does (did) smoke a fair tad with a wide open throttle, so can imagine that the back off the car would soon get mucked up.

The exhaust smoke did not bother me, I just thought it part of the remap, and a right foot issue Whistle however I have just had a new map from Pete (BAS) who said he would look at / alter the fueling for me. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

Apparently adding 2T (2 stroke) oil to you fuel help cut down on the amount of sh Censored t thrown out the exhaust....load of info on the Disco 3 site, search for "Yamaha Fan" In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

It seems whatever is suggested you always put a negative on it Whistle So if i was you i would leave it as it is because there isn't anything on the market that is going to be suitable for your complicated needs. Shocked If you are selling the motor in 18 months time then whats your problem? Sell the motor with them on. Wink
