Hi there I need help I was driving my range rover other day I floored it and suddenly all power left my car I pulled over and the car wouldn't even pull away al at all lots of black smoke and engine sounds like its struggling to tick over engine fault on display I had a friend hook it upto a dipgnostic machine and it cums up lots of air flow faults I cleared the faults n now it won't start anyone had any issues similar would really appreciate some advice as my local specialist is closed for another two weeks and its doing my head in haha thanks Jamie

I've seen similar things with people reporting spilt turbo pipes, could be worth a look

could be worth posting what the fault codes were too, for the more knowledgeable to look at

Thanks nick I've notice a split hose coming from intercooler part number pnh500361 bin on to local dealer and can't get me one till new year now am hoping thts the problem only had the car a week any ideas where I could get one sooner???

Thanks for the ideas bin on to land rover again off to pay for part upfront and a courtier charge should be here thurs fri so hopefully will be posting with good news fingers crossed

if you bought from a LR dealer, can they not take a donor part off a stock car to keep you mobile?

if it was extended warranty with breakdown have you called LR assistance, to see what they can do? and provide a loan LR till your mobile

No such luck not under warranty but I am now on route to Manchester to get the part before the dealer down there shuts aha I will be purchasing a warranty once I find a good one cheers for the help

After a long trip to Manchester and bk new intercooler hose and new fuel filter all I have achieved us the car starts after a while n runs for 5 seconds and then cuts out blowing white smoke out I feel as if its struggling to get fuel but apart from changing filter I haven't a clue any more help would be really appreciated

You have PM. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Have you tried Northeastern 4x4 ?
I picked mine up from them on Saturday and they said they were closing for christmas but didn't mention how long for.
They'll sort it for you and they won't rip you off but If you get really desparate you could always try Stratstones in stockton........
