Mac question

Ok you Mac lot......

Just bought Photoshop on DVD but it wont load on my Mac which is running Snow Leopard - its just ejects the disc. Other discs load fine. It will load okay on Mrs Bradders Macbook running Mountain Lion.

I noticed the DVD is made in Germany - is it a region thing ?? Is there a setting somewhere on my Mac that needs a tweak or will it be sorted if I upgrade the OS ??

Cheers, fellas. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

I assume its an original copy ? Not come across OS specific requirements for Photoshop before.. I assume other dvd's work in this MAC ?

MAC applications are not region specific, only movies on dvd. Why?.. Because i can....

May indicate that your drive is failing; my old iMac has become very picky about reading commercial disks with which it previously had no problem, yet they're fine in the external drive of my wife's MBA.
Have you tried using RemoteDisk to access the DVD placed in your wife's MacBook?

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

if you do rule out the disk drive you could always upgrade to Mountain lion (as it works on the bosses MB) for about 30 bucks/20 quid to move from SL, depends how much memory you have of course

Thumbs Up
Which one? It's a pain that the Apple SuperDrive won't work with my iMac.
