United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red
Brembo Brake option

Was the Brembo brake option on the RRS a very rarely ticked option?

A couple of friends have full fat range rovers with large Brembos, but looking at the majority of the Sports, they dont. Walking round Hunters in Guildford the other day & there was only one sport with them too..... And they literally had hundreds in there.

Anyone have a clue?

On the earlier models only the supercharged and the TDV8's had the brembo brakes as standard up to 2010 I think Java black 2006

My 2007 MY TDV6 has them but I don't know whether they were standard or optional - is there any database I can check the VIN against? Current: MY15 RRS2 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography Dynamic, Aruba Gold, HUD, Meridian 1700w
Gone: RRS TDV6 2007 Stornaway
Gone: P38 2.5 DHSE

I would also be interested in knowing which bits were optional extras on mine if anyone knows a way I can check?

That's interesting.

They were an option on the 2005 & 2006 2.7 & standard on the 2007, then an option again for 2008-2009 (s/c and TDV8 alays have Brembo's) Thumbs Up RRS gone

I bought my car new in march 2007 2.7 HSE and the dynamic response and brembos came as standard on it. The paperwork that I've got confirms only the customer selected optional items were tv , DVD , rear screens, 20 inch wheels ,tow bar and sidesteps and the choice of paint and trim
