Can a reverse camera not just be plugged into one of the AV inputs in the rear centre console? Would this not work?

Audio visual input will only play on rear screens and designed for hand held games consoles. Only way you wlll get camera on demand is to go with dedicated control unit that plugs into satnav box as this connects to reverse light loom and parking sensor loom to trigger. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

If you read through the pages of the above message string there is even a way of fooling the sat nav computer to work in FFRR mode, doing this also allows you to wire a reversing cam in much the same way the FFRR works, not tried it yet but it looks very interesting.
