Can someone clarify something up for me?

The Sport HST....

With some many available which are factory cars and which are not? Is there a plaque of limited edition number in the car or is there HST on the v5?

And the TDV6's & TDV8's are these just after market upgrades done by owners? OR are these genuine HST's too? Would they use genuine parts of cheap after market bits? Whats the tell tale signs?

Thanks in advance

The RRS Stormer also has the HST kit, but does not have the same spec as a HST factory.

There was no such vehicle as a factory "Stormer" - these are likely to be dealer specials with the HST kit. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

That's an HSE with HST bodykit.

Tidy...slightly expensive but the HST bodykit's are quite expensive to retro fit.

Had the big service done which is good.

You need to ask, do you want to pay £2k over the book price of an HSE to have a car that looks like an HST?

If you do..then pays your money Mr. Green RRS gone

Hi there thanks for getting back to me.

Out of curiosity how can you tell its not a factory from the images...the wheels, interior?

Im after an HST but im px'ing my 635d M Sport so need a decent deal there too and this was the only one (so far) that's offered me a straight swap.

Mileage doesn't bother me, i just don't want some back yard garage retrofit if you know what i mean.

Just checked, no record of a 2.7 HST on Parkers guide

07 was supercharged only
57 TDV8 HST was introduced

Typically the HST fetches 2-4k more than an HSE Thumbs Up RRS gone

This has been for sale a while, I was looking on eBay and auto trader for about 6 weeks prior to buying mine and came across this car several times.

IMHO it's overpriced, would be a 15k car max without the hst kit, and I don't think that kits worth 3k. If it was me, I would rather buy the 15k car standard and put the extra 3k towards the new auto biog kit, the end result would be much more impressive

A factory HST should have a sunroof... I've just been through this process fitting n HST kit to my wife's HSE

Am glad you asked Barrieeld, as I am currently doing my homework on this very subject, trying to find a good example! Rand up for this earlier today http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv...?logcode=p

left me a little confused.com as owner was adamant it was a factory edition! Will watch this thread very closely as to clear up some of the bull thats put there! From what I have gleaned so far, the diesel HST from the factory, is just a normal HSE with a HST kit fitted?! Current transport : Audi S4 V8 Cabriolet, Suzuki GSXR600 K1
