There have been a few 07MY D3's successfully blanked. It seems to be a bit hit and miss as to whether you will get away with it or not

I think on the 2007 cars (and newer) the EGR still has to be functional for the CEL not to come on... but I assume once "blanked" they are protected from carbon build up (the thing that kills EGRs) and hense will not fail anyway... but as Mikey said, it's a bit hit and miss RRS gone

The EGR has to function properly to keep the light off.

The issue is when the valves open, the ECM expects a drop in airflow readings. With the valves blanked, the airflow readings don't change, and also brings on the EML...

So mine is an MY07, right on the changover year Sad How can I tell if it is a EURO 3 or EURO 4 engine?

All 07MY or later are EU4 engines

05/06MY are EU3

Thing I might have just answered my own question........

Just looked up Euro Emission standards on Wiki and compared the emissions on my log book to them, It doesn't reach Euro 4 standards so looks like its a Euro 3 and might be a candidate for a blanking Thumbs Up
