Waiting at the traffic lights on a major roundabout I thought I would switch on the heated seat for the passenger I was on my way to pick up, in the dark i missed the button and opps boot opened, why the hell is this not disabled while in gear or able to close it, beware !!!! Tesla Model Y - 2023

Fortunately as I heard the pop of the boot release I pushed it again, had to drive up the road till I could pull in as the lights glad gone green, I wished I could of seen the guys face in the car behind, he did flash me , lucky I didn't loose anything thank goodness for the rubber mat Tesla Model Y - 2023

does seam strange that this function isn't disabled over 25mph (as per the off road height) RRS gone

It is awd , I think it's actually above 5mph , my incident occurred when I was at some traffic lights, ie stationary.....so annoying... ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

^^^ There's an update for certain VIN numbers as the opening/close function doesn't work properly all the time. Worth checking if yours needs it ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Saw a brand new 3 or 5 series BMW driving along on the way to work this morning with his saloon boot wide open. Guess he couldn't seen the warning on his dash then!
