Wanted Battery

Hi all i have HDC problem on cold start on my 55 plate sport time for a new battery ive been looking at Varta and Bosch are these any good ?
Ive been told about the gel Batteries are better but are expensive any ideas and has anyone got one for sale thanks pete

I was told no to use a gel battery as it would not last
I got a new one Monday 87£ from eurocarparts all come with a 3 year Guarantee you cud get a new one each year lol

Bought a new battery today havent had time to fit it yet but i got a Bosch with a 4yr guarentee for £79 95AH with a crank of 800 seemed a good deal LR wanted £238

they are selling these gel batteries as it was explained to me the "next generation of batteries" as long as the car starts thats all tha counts

That's the standard price on current LR spec. - changed in July.
As mentioned, euro parts with a discount code will get you one under £100.

Ah, a change of battery technology would seem a reasonable excuse for price changes Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
