Bluetooth telephone connections

Hi hope someone can help,

I have paired my iPhone 4 with the Bluetooth and my phone contacts come up on the radio display, when I make a call I can hear the person that I have called but they are unable to hear me. This is very frustrating so I am hoping that I have done something wrong in the setup and it is easy to rectify.

Someone PLEASE HELP !!!

Thank you

Steve

Have you tried another phone to make sure the mic is working? Mike

You need to test the car mic not the phone

If you have got a nav screen then you can go into the hidden menu and do a mic test to see if it's working

Here's some instructions how to find it

Now we have removed the phone/phone setting as potential fault then money's on the mic.

You need to go into the secret menu to test it - but actually using voice control or recoring a voice memo will show if the mics working more quickly than the secret menu Thumbs Up Mike

My point was to eliminate the phone as a problem first - its a 10 second test to check the phone - actually we can be certain the fualts are with either the mic or the phone side of the infotainment system Mike
