England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Thinking of swapping my sport for a q7

Not put pics on yet but I have a 08 hse sport 68k miles, side steps, all usual hse extras, satnav is also freeview tv and fridge in the console. Car is grey with supercharged alloys, 2.7 v6 diesel, Crome vents and mirrors, full service history and car is spotless. Had for 13 months and now fancy a q7, any ideas on what I could get price wise or has anyone got a q7 they would like to discuss over a swap??

Had a Q ugly for 4 months when somebody crashed into the back of it, got a V8 RRS as a courtesy car for 2 weeks whilst the Q ugly had surgery, within a week the Audi was gone and a nice RRS now sits on the drive. the more you sweat in practice
the less you bleed in battle

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

Similar to the above, I had a 7 for a weekend when my Sport was on one of its many long term visits to garage. Really was very boring, useless at pulling caravan and not comfortable. Same week I tried an ML looking for a sport alternative but couldn't find one. So stuck out six weeks in a loan car until mine was fixed. Still have it four years on 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

You're bound to get a biased view on an RRS site, but i seriously considered a Q7 S-Line 'Plus' before I got my RRS.
Some good features - electric towbar for one Cool , but I just found it was like sitting higher up in my A6 at the time, ie a bit boring. The RRS for me offered a big step up, certainly the MY12 anyway. Have you looked at the interiors in a MY10+ car on the RRS, they really are a step up from where you are currently Question

Doesn't have to be a q7, could be a nice estate etc.... I've just got a sensible head now after having a baby

Have had some experience with a Q7 and can't really knock it much. It is a hugely capable car and surpasses the RRS in some areas. Like everything it has it's good points aswell as its weaknesses. I particularly like the later full LED light models in white Thumbs Up

Had S/C RRS for over a year sold it to buy new shape got side tracked & bought Audi A8 Quattro lovely car with all the toys - but just 6 weeks in to ownership I'm back looking at an RRS! Think hard before you change! Cheers Laurence.
