Have you had a look at lintran dog boxes?,I have recently bought a ex display db11 from them at quite a large markdown their service was 1st class and the box is made from white fibreglass with anti rattle lockable doors,so fairly light for the size although that model might be a bit big for just 1.

I'm interested in buying one of these now which one did you get, if you don't me asking, Cliff? Vadim A.

Kept the boot/bumper clean and easy to put in and out Thumbs Up

I had to have him put down last Christmas and now have a westie and parson Russell but use a crate so might be interested in selling Sad

The dog bag is undamaged and still have the rucksack for packing it but the westie chewed the edge of the mud & snow liner slightly hence using a cage now Embarassed

This is the one I have purchased in the end. The main reason is that I like the fact that you can take it out to use as a bed when travelling or ate friends' house.

Thank you all for the recommendations Vadim A.

+1 for the travail. I've got the divider too which keeps the dog off luggage etc.

Easy to fit (and crucially remove) and allows one to drop the seats with it in place which can be useful. Also, the load cover is still fully useable. They do a divider partition too so you can split the boot in two and have one bit for the dog and one bit for luggage. Thumbs Up

Would be good. Thumbs Up
I only have a Border Terrier so only need the small size, but I like the idea, like you, that you can use it as a place for them when you are out and about too. Cool ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Hi guys,
I finally got the DogBag. I kept it in the house for a couple of days for the puppy to get used to it before taking it to the car.
And guess what? Today, on the first day when I took the bag to RRS I left the bag open thinking that there would be no space for the puppy to get out of the bag. I was right. He stayed in all the time but upon arrival I found out that he chewed the side of the bag and now it no longer closes, he chewed the zipper. Lesson learned Exclamation , put the puppy in and close the bag so that he has no open corners to chew on. You can see the damaged corner (it's still wet...) on the photo.
Other than that, I'm quite happy with the purchase (which is now I think is more or less useless because of the damage as I will no longer be able to keep him inside the bag Evil or Very Mad - damn it. It fits nicely into the car and I can see through the bag the traffic behind me.
On the other hand, keeping the puppy inside in the bag at home is a bit tricky. The top of the bag is a see through material which makes him think he can get out. So he tries to jump out and turns the bag on its side. I tried covering the top side of the bag with a towel and he does calm down and goes to sleep right away. But I think it gets too hot inside.

Here are some photos
