Where do you keep your watch when travelling?

May be an odd question but wander how do people store/transport watches when traveling? Obviously asking about the once that you are not wearing on your wrist...

Re: Where do you keep your watch when travelling?

When travelling on holiday i have the more expensive watch on my wrist, the cheaper pool/beach watch in my hand luggage.
Any other travelling I only take the watch I'm wearing.
Why do you ask?

I spent most of the weeks travellingand carry always 2 watches - one on wrist and the other in my business bag but with no case/box, which I guess isn't ideal... Do you have any box for your watch Nik?

I do at home but when on holiday, good watch usually goes in the safe on top of passports and the cheap one is either on the wrist or on a table.

My insurance only covers mine if it is in the same room as me, or I'm wearing it.

If you have an expensive watch then its not for telling time but as a bit of man jewellery - so wear it.

If you're worried it will get nicked or you'll look afluent and be mugged for it don't take it - your phone will tell time ! as will your car and about every other bit of technology Shocked

It is not about being worried that it get nicked I would only like to store the one that I am not wearing safely so that does not damaged. Taking just one could work but then when on road for 2+ weeks (which is most of my trips) I like to swap them now and then...

Looked at the Breitling leather travel case but can not find a place where to order...
