Its a belt on the 2.7 engine, 7 years old or 105,000 miles, whichever comes first. |

I asked the dealer where I bought the car whether the cam belt had been changed on mine in its life. They told me this model does not have a cambelt, it has some sort of chain, and this does not need changing. IS this correct? (2007 TDV8) |

Correct, TDV8's have a timing chain, as rrsboy would say, another reason to get a TDV8 |
