hi all

i have posted this on the disco 3 site but not many replies, and was told by VA to ask on here instead as may get a few more replies

i have just booked to go to st lucia in august all inclusive for a week, i have been to dominican republic and found it very nice but seemed very busy for a carabean island and more like a european holiday

i have also been to jamaica again very nice but we never felt safe outside the hotel grounds we went into montego bay on the bus and never even got off just stayed on the bus until it returned to the hotel

have any of you been to st lucia and if so what did you think did you explore the island is it safe and do you have any recomendations as to where to visit

I replied! Wouldn't trust "over here" as their choice of cars is somewhat suspect, considering they could have had a D3!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Shawn, haven't been to St Lucia.

I've been to Dom Rep, Barbados and Aruba. Out of those I'd recommend Aruba but it is a bit too Americanised, not a real carribean feel.

I'll ask around though but I'm sure it'll be fantastic.

Iv'e been to Antigua & Barbados - both great - really laid back people & both extremely frinendly & safe places to go.

As for St.Lucia = a few friends have been - enjoyed their holls - but it can rain a little more there than the other caribean islands.
