When you say HSE or Supercharger, do you mean petrol or a diesel ? The HSE is also available as a 4.4V8 petrol and the economy in this wont be much better than a SC. Therefore for day to day driving it's a no brainer if economy is a priority then it has to be a diesel HSE. Although if you go for a TDV8 diesel, this also has plenty of power aswell as reasonable economy. |

If it has to be petrol then you might as well go for the Supercharged. The 4.4 petrol wasn't that much better than the SC in terms of fuel useage. Indeed, the TDV8 effectively replaced the 4.4 by adding a significant increase in fuel economy with no loss of performance. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Its for my mother. She wants the 4.4. Doe snot like the idea of superchargers. I would personally go with the Supercharger and probabaly will be going for one.
