awd, you got me thinking, so ive been to check. My apologies guys, ive just checked my rear number plate light bulbs and they ARN'T the bulbs i put up in my link above they are the ones posted in awd's link. sorry for the confusion, the ones in my link are the bulbs i put in my wifes mini.

You've also got me thinking (not quite AKA Ady)

The "festoon" bit you're seeing is probably the plug attachment.

The bulb just pulls out of there (501 fitment) and the LED one will slot straight in... remember to check it works before you snap it back into the lens, LED's are directional...and you may need to twist it 180 degrees  RRS gone
