Is there much improvement in performance/noise on the 2.7td v6 if a de cat pipe was fitted, does the car need mapped if changed and are they mot friendly?

A few extra HP, and a few more lb ft of torque Thumbs Up

On top of this, the turbo spools up quicker, the power comes in sooner and holds the boost for a bit longer.

It is fine for an MOT. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. We have been through this time and time again on this forum, but you don't need a CAT on a diesel for an MOT Thumbs Up Whistle

A remap will complement the de-cat just nicely Thumbs Up
