If the battery is that flat then it probably needs changing anyway.

Get the alternator checked asap, common fault on these can lead to you being stranded or can cook the battery. |

Had to have my battery replaced a couple of weeks after I bought mine. Was stood a while so the battery died. However even after new battery was fitted the car would not start. It turned over but would not fire up. It turned out the ECU had 'desynched' itself from the car and it needed resetting. What a nightmare I had finding that out. Even had my fuel tank drained thinking I had accidently put petrol instead of diesel in |
