Je engineering remap

Hi all just been to je engineering in Coventry and booked in my 56 plate 2.7 hse in for their stage 1 tune remap , I'll post my thoughts after it has been done, first impressions of the company are pretty good ,nice and clean premises and the staff seem pretty knowledgeable , but we'll see on Wednesday after its been done. Have any of you guys used je engineering before ? I'd like to hear some of your comments . Cheers

Very good pedigree with LR

The only reason I didn't use them was it's an on site only map Thumbs Up

+1 never used them but they are well known for a long standing and excellent LR 'enhancements'.

Any idea what bhp and torque improvements you are expecting ?? FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

They say 20% more bhp and over 30% more torque Razz and hopefully a little better fuel economy but that's not "guaranteed . They also said that its a map for life and if it gets wiped it will be reinstalled for free .

Just forget about mpg claims and you'll be fine Thumbs Up

mpg is purely down to driving style and the roads you travel on (average speed) Thumbs Up RRS gone

Had both my TDV6's remapped. Not by JE. But by DMS. They got about 220 bhp but the by- product was they eliminated the throttle response delay and managed about 2 mpg increase even though I drove it like a hooligan. They also give lifetime cover which was handy after a software update wiped it. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black

Hi There,

I have a general question regarding remapping. I've read in previous posts that it increases the level of smoke coming out the exhaust. Is this correct as that kinda puts me off??

Thanks,

There is always a slight increase in exhaust soot (more fuel/boost will always result in more soot)

If you are unhappy with the levels of smoke coming from the rear you can always ask the mapper to map it "less aggresively" RRS gone

Mapped TDV6 tend to smoke a bit if booted from standstill but not in usual driving. Always know you are following a mapped V8, they leave trail of smoke at partial and full throttle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
