New steering wheel

Just had my wheel recovered by Jack at Royal Steering Wheels.

Hes done a great job and feels so much better than the original. He will do in Leather as well.

Highly recommended

I've just spoken to Jack, a retrim in nappa leather is £105, plus £10 postage and if you use the exchange service so you're not without a wheel it is £100 deposit which they return on receipt of your old wheel.
£125 seems a bargain for a nappa retrim so I've just ordered mine! Thumbs Up
Pete

I'm not sure but would think so having looked at the website. He said he can customise it pretty much how you want including stitching colour, 12 o'clock bands etc. give him a call, he's very helpful.

Hi,

I think alcantara is more but the stitching style doesn't cost anything. The 12 o'clock band is £10. He has promised me the wheel a week on Tuesday. I can't wait as the current wheel is such a let down, even if it wasn't bubbled. The side steps are going on hold for this as at the end of the day it's the bit you interact with most!
On eBay the exchange services are about £180 odd so this seems like good value Surprised

The nappa leather one I saw the other night is very soft. Too soft and it wouldn't be durable enough

A 12 o'clock band is a small band a different colour that goes at the top of the wheel so you know where the centre is. More suited to sports cars than RRS's...

As for anything give him a bell or look at royalsteeringwheels.com

I'll update when I get my new wheel!

Wish I had seen this a month ago!!!
My second steering wheel gone sticky and horrible, and at 275 plus vat, land rover wasn't am option. Eventually found a brand new smooth leather wheel on fleabay. Having had Alcantara steering wheels on my RS4 Audi which is only used couple of times a year, it doesn't last much longer than standard land rover item. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜
