Varta battery for sale

Hi, I bought a Varta H3 12v battery as the battery on my RRS was beginning to die. I ended up selling the RRS before I ever put the battery in, so it is unused. There are a load of other numbers on the battery that I can give if you need them, but I bought it for a MY06 supercharged RRS, and it cost around £280 - it is a decent bit of kit.

I am based in south Oxfordshire and am looking for reasonably sensible offers, although I am pretty keen to move it on as I am not likely to be getting a new RRS any time soon.

£280 for a battery?!! Wow!

What are the relevant numbers? (Amps and Ah) 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I am pretty sure I paid north of £250 for it, but it was a couple of years ago. I know at the time it was the best battery I could find, maybe the price has come down now, or maybe I have picked the wrong number. Or maybe I did get ripped off!

Anyway, I will have a look at the battery tonight and give the full spec. I am not trying to pull a fast one here - it is an unused battery that I have had lying around for a couple of years. The battery has a five year warranty from new and I will see of I can find the receipt (to check if I was ripped off if nothing else!). I was going to put it in the bin to be honest, but thought someone on here might be able to use it.

Happy to wait for any payment until the buyer is happy with it. Any proceeds I get from this sale will be going to action medical research, and happy for the buyer to make payment directly to them when he is ready.
