2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 3.6 [MODS]

Hello everyone,

I just purchased a Black 2007 Range Rover Sport and I am itching to start modding it. Was thinking a body kit; preference being Overfinch and Kahn or possibly Revere. Re-tinting in it's entirety (any suggestions?) and then a potential exhaust upgrade.

Is there anything I should be doing immediately? I prefer the look of Overfinch and Kahn Autobiography but would there be any reasons why I shouldn't go for these bodykits?

Your help is appreciated.
Paul.

Save the money on the bodykit, and spend it on a remap, and an exhaust. Thumbs Up

Interesting. On the 3.6ltr, what could I get from a remap?

Wow! Is there a particular remap I should look at? I had a remap on my old bmw 335i and it worked a treat!

Given where you're based, maybe contact AMD (based near Thurrock Lakeside), they're a site sponsor, check out the threads by them.
There's also Pete @ Bell Auto's who will remap your ECU via the post and give full details how to update it. Many people have gone this route too Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

@ PaulDavidLondon

Colour coordinated door handles are an immediate improvment (£80)
2012 rear LED light converstion also really updates the rear for £300odd
Side repeaters can be smoked, black effect or crystal, all are way better then the standard orange Laughing ((£15-£30, depending on what you go for)

All of these mods will not effect your bodykit choice, and will enhance the look

So I did the colour coded door handles and any other bits that i thought would be worth doing over the weekend. Side repeaters are on order, I went for crystal.

Realistically if I went for an Overfinch bodykit, for example, I'd have to change the alloys right?

P.s. thanks for the info re: the remap.

imho the car looks "over bodied" with any bodykit without 22" alloys fitted Thumbs Up

Be very very careful when purchasing 22" alloys though, and if you can stretch your budget to get authentic premium brand wheels then you know you're getting units that are strong enough for the job.

Ebay is littered with Range Rover Sport alloys, but in truth a lot of them are only weight rated to 700kgs, which is a ticking time bomb to a failure.

Overfinch, Kahn, Hawke Lowenhart would be my suggested premium brands. Thumbs Up RRS gone
