Detachable or semi detachable both work well and slot in. Semi detachable also has two extra bars and can be set at different heights. Bodsys Brake Bible

Did all sports have the electric and sockets fitted, but just not all supplied with the tow ball itself then? Supercharged and proud.....!

No, again an option. About £80 for the wiring and quite straight forward to fit yourself. Bodsys Brake Bible
