Sounds like your dealer needs to try a bit harder.

Need to get the beating stick out. I was told delivery times were about 3-4 months from order depending if factory was on left or right hand drive cars. Once you place your order and hand over a deposit, they should give you a build date and approx delivery date. My guess if ordered recently will be early January. Only reason builds go in the pot is if dealer is playing roulette on specs and doesn't want to commit and pay for a slot. Like you, when ordering German cars I was given a website to follow build. Last car came weeks early. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Stratstones are as close to fraudsters as you can get.

Also sounds like they may be out of allocation and are waiting until they are given the next batch and only then will they order the vehicle.

I guess your using Stratstone on the Stratford road in Shirley After all the problems I've had with them ... Boardering on incompetence (they sent me to Scotland with a defective brake system) I have lists! I will never buy another car from them...ever (the car also went to other stratstone in the group so not just 1 dealer) And yes they can get the initial window, followed by the week and narrow it right down...they are also notified on delivery date. In edition remember they are 5miles from the factory! Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

it's frankly ridiculous. Cancel the order. Your deposit isn't in jeopardy because, as PER THE DEALER'S OWN LIE, it hasn't entered a production slot yet.

If you made December a condition of your order you can demand your deposit back.
