Hi all.... after hunting around for a few months I finally bit the bullet and invested (right word ??) in my choice of Sport a 2005 Supercharger ! And taken this one on as a bit of a project @ 107,000 miles

Not too sure what the front and rear bumper extensions are a replica of and if anyone recognises the car please let me know as I am trying to gather together the history ( as it seems all service history before 2010 have been lost..) The number plate is in the process of being transferred back to the original owner! Being the 5th owner seems to have had various private plates of which I have record of to help with tracking history....

Have spoken to Lookers Park royal who have repaired the EPB in 2007, the original 55 plates are stamped up HR Owen so need to find a dealer that may have worked on it ! Last year it had the full DSC antiroll bar replaced along with tail gate switch, cruise switch, Air sensors, Battery etc By Guy Salmon in maidstone (Receipt for 2.7k !) MOT history all seems to check out online.

I believe it has spent most of its life in London / Southeast having been originally purchased by a Saudi oil baron as a runabout for his son at university in london ??? (so I was told..) but any help with tracking down any info would be greatly appreciated..

And yes I've had all the jokes, so if you live in south east I am available for Weddings, funerals, drive by shootings and drug deal chauffering if required I can supply 2 close protection SIA guys if required

Overall though having owned and tinkered with many different cars over the years I am loving it, and have spent my time soaking up all the info RRSport.co.uk has to offer, so will be sticking around for a while !

Did it not come with the towbar?

Was the colour coding already done? Considering doing mine myself if I can find the Bonnatti Grey in a can.

I bought it like this... in the process of tidying it up I looked around at several cars and decided on this as the colour coding was done and I got it for a good price due to a list of issues i am resolving.


The rear bumper skirt has a removable flap for the towbar, but its screwed in, need to some up with a hinge to allow easy fitment of the towbar (which I still have to source) and the bodykit has been fitted over the slot used for the electrics, need to change this as i want to fit a tow bar for a boat.. May end up changing bumpers when funds allow (liking the hst ones..)

A paintshop will easily be able to match the paint, remove the parts you need matching up and leave them with the paintshop for a couple days thats how i've done previous cars, althought its easy for me to say as I have family in the business.... Why?.. Because i can....

Someone(s) taken what they like form a few design house ideas and blended them into their own.

Colour strip = Kahn
Lower bodykit = unknown, but i rememeber something like these coming up on ebay a year or so ago?

Totally agree it is a mix Indeed, wasnt too sure as to the overall look at first but it is starting to grow on me, the nearest I can find to the look of the lower body kit is an Arden ?

Eyeing up some 22" stormers at the moment or may refurb the v spokes until funds allow

this looks like a car belonging to a friend of mine from uni who was actually from dubai, had a full haman kit rims etc, and we used to compare cars! not going to mention his name but im almost certain its the car!

this was all hamann at one stage but i remember he had problems with wheels!

Now have a boot full of these 22" wheels... shotblasted and ready for a refurb ! rated at 900kgs each, so they should do...

Although just been quoted £580 to paint and diamond polish them I did fall of my chair a bit, so shopping about for a better price locally

Hi there! I saw you mentioned you had your driver seat base retrimmed due to rips and scratches. I've got exactly the same problem, i.e side panel just about the controls is cracked/ripped, plus seat base has a scratch where zip on jeans has ripped it.

Where did you get yours done & how much did it get set you back? I'm London based.

Also, I'm looking for an extra rear bumper lip like you have to make the rear look a bit more sporty, and house some overfinch exhaust tips.

I took the RRS to a local trimmer to me in chatham, he works from home and did it in less than a day for £90 to replace 3 panels and colour code it in.

Any good auto upholsterer should be able to do the job, or you can get replacement lower seat panels from land rover or even ebay i believe and swap them over. The guy i used is available here : http://www.stitcheduptrimmers.co.uk (feel free to delete if I am in breach of rules)

I cannot say what the rear bumper lip is, but there are plenty of options available from the usual tuning websites, I am considering swapping it all to HST in the future.. any one else any ideas on the style ?

I need new rear lights as I have a nice dent in the place of one .. and i am facing a dilemma... It going to be led rear lights regardless, but I'm not too sure what would look best ? Rear bumpers needs to be replaced and looking about for an autobiography one if anyone has a cheap one spare ?

I am thinking between the 2012 led with black inserts or the red hawke ones i keep winking at me on ebay ? what is the quality of these aftermarket ones like ? will red lights look better than clears ?
