Thanks for reply, Looked at brake recall but my vin number does not fall into that batch. There is no gurgle noise. I had brake lght switch replaced 6 months ago due to dash lighting up like a xmas tree. |

Rogerpop, I had a similar problem with mine, pedal got longer and longer travel over a few days, the brakes wouldn't bleed, they wouldn't push fluid through, turned out to be master cylinder shot, the seals had swollen and gone soft. Genuine cyl. was less than 60.00 pounds, good value I thought, hope this helps. |

All sorted. It was front nearside wheel bearing. It was not making a noise but on jacking car up to look at brakes noticed rocking movement on wheel in 6 and 12 oclock position. Changed wheel bearing and brakes are now ok. Must have been with bearing going and movement it was pushing pads back a little bit. |

I had my front nearside hub replaced as it was nearly hanging off due to the shot bearing, but i never suffered any brake issues, still as long as its fixed 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater ))) |
