I believe the audio out from the GVIF needs to be connected to the AV input of your head unit.

I have recently fitted a GVIF unit and reversing camera from hids4u and have got another one to do for big al and wondered what other things people have used the GVIF unit for ie more cameras, iPods and phones DVD players etc and how easy the other mods were ?

Can anybody tell me if the newer models have multiple cameras fitted and if they find them useful. Think I read they have cameras fitted in the mirrors looking at the kerb to aid with the parking ( might have made it up though )

Regards Rigsby
Hi Rigsby, I have just purchased the GVIF interface, with a landrover cable GF08-V7 -1. My RRS MY08 TDV6 With Satnav, and TV fitted. The unit has several cables supplied but no fitting instructions.Except a link on line, which only shows the new multie plug into GVIF and cam wires connection, and live connections. Does not say how to connect to my navi box. have you any intructions to fit unit? Or any tips itisme
