Hoses will perish over time and a remap will often increase turbo boost by a small amount which will accelerate wear and tear on already old hoses.

Right people in the know, i eventually bought a 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 engine, 245BHP & 600NM torque i believe, so what can i do to this as i have seen people sat 300BHP & 725nm torque increase for £300-£400 ? I live in Wilmslow Cheshire and any advise would be great thanks, also will this invalidate my 12 month main dealer warranty and also do i have to tell my insurance company?

Of course you need to tell your insurance company, you've modified your car by remapping it

Are there any parts that should be replaced or may fail quicker than usual following a remap ? Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)

After reading all these posts got to get mine done now  TDV8 2007 window tints, side steps.

Reecy, I'm not sure what model/year your sport is, but the icon under your user name is wrong. There isn't a 2010 SDV6 If yours is a 2010 TDV6 then your ECU has to be split open and has to be remapped on the bench. You can't have a simple plug in and play remap on the 3.0 L engine.
