Just read this................he was wanted for murder (with a gun) and they send 2 unarmed female officers to arrest him?????

Manchester is really earning its nickname of Gunchester lately.

Like this nutter who killed a student for no reason! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-19002881

They went to a standard "thieves on" someone must have reported seeing someone breaking in or in the property, the police had no knowledge that this guy was there, even GMP are not that stupid enough to send in unarmed police, i would have been a different story if they knew, i suspect a dead criminal.

Either way the death penalty should be brought back and used on this scum bag, suspect he is in a nice warm interview room with tea and biscuits and its nearly dinner time yummy, whilst 2 families never saw there loved ones come home from work. If you took some fog and put it in a jar, would it be missed.

its a shame and he deserves a lot worse than the justice system can give

but i wouldnt want to change the policing reforms or the approach to UK policing as a reaction.

Oh and Manchester has always made me feel more unsafe than Birmingham or Liverpool...i would rather go to London and I hate that city Mike

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

I got caught up in the aftermath on my way back from Blackburn at lunchtime.
They had completely sealed off the whole council estate behind the new Tesco at the end of the M 67 just before Hollingworth Hill. There were also dozens of police cars on standby in the surrounding laybys and after I'd gone past a convoy with a bomb disposal truck were en route.
I've just read that it was a deliberate trap, somebody rang to report a burglary and with no notes on file associated with the address given it was just a routine enquiry.
They knocked on the door and he lobbed a grenade out.
Obviously no idea if this report is true but if it is quite worrying that the underclass have sunk so low. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Liverpool is one of the safest city's to go out in. Huge police presence and good organisation after pubs clubs close. During the day it's fine to. I'm appalled people still think the city has a bad reputation! If you want trouble or a bad night head to Birkenhead.

Yes I did read your post. Which is why I said 'people', it was an addition to your comments on feeling safe there.

When I say if you want a bad night. . . . I wasn't addressing you directly. Sad
