Had mine done this weekend, first press of the remote to open the tailgate after i'd left the dealership, it failed to open it just clicked and i had to lift it manually so i closed it with the button on the tailgate, tried it again several times and so far so good, its worked ok everytime, but one thing for you guys to check before you drive away is other settings in the car, my clock was 3 hours out, my electric windows don't work anymore with the one touch function i havn't noticed anything else yet. So when they configure the tailgate it obviously does a factory reset to some of the electrics. |

Thanks Ady, given I'll have a 120 mile round trip to get mine done when it's serviced, I'll check these things before I head home

Cheers Beano, so do i, lucky for me, my dealer is less than 5 miles away but managed to sort these little problems out myself, but i may tip the dealer off to check such items before they send out other motors due in for the same config I'm sure i will be getting a follow up call from HQ to see if i was happy with the work carried out and the service i received. |

That's all because of the update...it's not a reset its how it flashes the ecu, I do it when I'm messing with autologic, if your lazy and don't set the date/clock...then it just 0000's it One touch windows needs recalibrating (simple...look in the manual) Boot will have been the same...the clock will be how eh reset it Glad mine was too new for this though Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

They are just simple issues that perhaps the dealer isn't aware of once the update has been carried out, Now if it was someone elses motor that isn't too familiar with such settings then it may well be another trip to the dealer for them |
