I have just had my exhaust manifold gaskets done and it's a body off job on the TDV8 |

I was going to say im sure technically to remove the engine you need to remove the body - however, i was looking at the engine out of a d4 with the body on so its possible - im not sure which is easier...some of it may be down to the equipment you have. If you cant lift the body off then you are screwed Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

More like "5 year old Sports eh!" 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

£1k to take the body off and replace it sounds a bit steep. How much are these guys charging per hour? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
