lost the locking wheel nut - oh :censored:

is the code likely to be in the handbook or is it going to be a trip to the dealer to work out which of A-Z fits?
or will the LR dealer havea record of which locking wheel key fits?

There is a sheet, about same size as the user handbook. It bears several cards, each roughly the size of a business card and can be detached along perforations from the parent sheet. All cards have the same content in different languages. It says something along the lines of "keep it safe and not in the car". It asks you to make a note of the bluetooth code and the locking wheel nut code. See if you can find that card or the entire sheet and it might have been recorded on it.

Not sure how common it is for people to enter those details. Mine came blank from the previous owner but I have filled it and stored at home.

Most are blank...which is a good thing if you think about it.

Go to the dealer and they will be able to identify it and order the replacement Mike

i know someone who lost his locking nut key and it was more expensive to buy just the key that it was to buy a whole new set of bolts,

Dealers have a master set, so do lots of the LRA Discovery 4 lot, not sure about The AA ones though

if the dealer or some kind soul can tell me which key it is then I can buy a genuine one off fleabay for £10 posted or less...
or if they can just get the old ones off a replacment set is circa £35

just swapped the wheels back to the original supercharged 20s and had that awful.....'what did I do with' moment while driving...no signof key where I was working, in the tools, boot or anywayere else

it vanished like a biro sometimes does Rolling Eyes Embarassed

If you want to go the cowboy method you can buy the tool to remove locking wheel nuts for less than that (and there is no labour!)

Just buy the genuine replacement...far easier Mike
