New Car transport

I am looking to get my car from LR Military to my home 136 miles, they will happily pay for the train and then drive home, but was looking the cost of getting it delivered (Covered transport). Anyone any dealings??

And before anyone asks/suggests... use of a Wokka for that really would be an abuse of taxpayers money Very Happy GONE** RRS 3.0SC Silver fully loaded Smile - 2020 110 loving it

Canny beat the LRMS discount Thumbs Up
I've moved cars around the uk a lot in the past, tend to use a local guy but there are plenty of transporters advertsing on ebay ect. Large local company are good if there isnt any time constraints and they can collect off the back of another job, pretty cheap way of getting a car transported.

Requiring 'covered transport' will bump the price up a fair amount as (my guess is) 9/10 hauliers use open wagons.

To give you an idea we'd expect to pay our usual transport company in the region of £200 + VAT for that sort of distance for a specific collection, however you could get a cheaper figure of you use a company that does multiple 'pooled' movements or collects on an empty return trip. These methods are cheaper but means you have to fit around their schedule usually.

James Thumbs Up
