Colour Coding Door Handles

Hi guys, been gathering parts for a bit of a makeover soon and have come to door handles.

I want them colour coded and have read on eBay that unless you have a very early Sport, you can buy replacement covers that simply click on and off.

Looking at mine last night, it seems they are one piece? I assume my 55-plate is one of the earlier models?

You're unlucky if they are one piece handles, I thought only the 2005 cars had them Confused

It's a whole unit swap which is a bit more fiddly I've heard but not impossible. RRS gone

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm certain they are 1-piece Big Cry

Don't really want to bother with replacing the whole handle so may ask my painter if he can work some magic on them. LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.

No problem Sag,

Have a really good look at the handles as like AWD says I suspect they are 2. It is not at all clear where/how they come apart. Wink

After looking at the pics I linked too I convinced myself that somehow my'06 was 1 piece - and with thorough investigation they aren't Embarassed

Also I think some places (perhaps someone else can say exactly where) sell the skins that stick on over the top of existing handles if that would suit you better.

Unfortunately I'm a frustrated colour coder as i couldn't find Bonnati grey anywhere for sales anymore Big Cry
otherwise I would have done this mod too as I dont really like the grey plastic on the door handles.

best of luck

Hi new forum member sold the Evoque and bought a Sport. I can highly recommended this company for painted door handle covers which they will paint in any Land Rover colour. I have no connection to the company just very happy with the product and paint finish Nara Bronze. Garry.Automotive Enhancements
