Been looking for a new ( or newish) Sport these last few weeks and can't believe the apathy and attitude amongst the dealers I have been in contact with - and I have been in touch with a load of them up and down the country.

Considering I am intending to spend up to 50k+ on my new sport the level of customer service is absolutely shocking.

Phone calls aren't returned for days (if ever), disinterest in my requirements, etc, etc ........l

The dealers have a major hold on the market with very little private sales this neck of the woods so I guess that makes them think they can behave like ?

To be fair to LR, and out of total frustration I have even offered business out to BMW and MB and they are no better? Best Wishes

I know what you mean, I had the same thing until I found Rob Frost at straystone mk and the guys at guy salmon in Wakefield. The good ones are there, just have to find them. No way would I give any money to people that do not deserve it, even if the car is good.

With waiting lists at there longest and lines of people in same position as you, complacent isn't and excuse but is the norm so it seems. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈

I was really impressed with Harwoods (against most other peoples experience it seems!) up until I took delivery. After that it was like they disappeared.

I even tried to contact them a number of times to enquire about used FL2's, which they had a forecourt full of, and never heard anything back.

As sad as I am to have got rid of the RRS, the level of service we have already received from Nissan has been excellent.

I think LR are joining Alfa on the list of cars I'd love, but dealers I want to avoid...

Having had first hand experience dealing with LPR and would recommend them 100%
I ended up there due to less than average service from dealers closer to home. If I'm spending over £50k, I want to at least feel that the person/company wants it, not that they are doing me a favour relieving me of my hard earned  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ironically after my post and the time I've been looking I have just done a deal with Stratstone in Swansea for a 12 plate Orkney/Ivory/Contrast Stitching SDV6 HSE.

Relatively painless (aside from the money of course) so far but I'll let you know how it goes.
