United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Low mileage can be just as bad as high mileage. Indeed, if a car does lots of short journeys then it's likely to be in worse shape than a high mileage vehicle that has done long drives up the motorway.

High mileage is fine if the servicing is carried out properly. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I bought my 56 plate 07 with 90K on the clock and am not overly concerned at the miles as I only do about 8k per year now.

I have an MY05 XC70 D5 with 225k miles on it and on the whole it has been fine. Interior/exterior is in good order, no wear on the seats etc (unlike the RRS). Suspension, g/box etc is fine but I've just put another engine in it as the liners were on the way out. It owes me nothing and is now on airport duty in Ireland for when I go over. I expect it to still be going for many years to come.

i don't like to buy cars that have high mileage anything over 40000, but must have full service history and be well looked after.
Mine is a 57 plate v8 supercharged hst and you wouldn't beleive the mileage on mine. I guarantee you will not find one as Low as mine, ready for it...13500! thats my car in the avatar. i will get pics up at a later date.

Why is 40K high mileage, surely a car is just getting run in at that?
