I wouldn't tackle it myself either, but by all accounts from fellow member awd, the splitting/re sealing was the easy part.......he should know.......he did it enough times  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Haha, exactly... dont fancy it at all - ideally want to buy / p.ex my headlamps - missed out on a set from fleabay too

How did you manage to de-tango the indicator reflectors? Also what paint did you use - looks great!

I purchased a pair crystal lens from one of our American members on here (I'll look for his thread)

Then it's just a straight swap.... orange out... crystal in... couldn't be easier

The paint is boggo standard Harfrauds matt black in a sray can...  RRS gone

One thing to rememeber/be aware of, the lens's come soft.... do not install them immediatly or if you do, glue the top tab in place as per thread instructions.

I left mine to cure for a couple of months and they were fine and 100% stiff by then  RRS gone

Ok thanks, I see the price is £289.80 is that about right , so what am I ordering is it 2 pairs and what size ?

Do you have the ones that change colour or just plain

Mine are plain white which match the xenons very well.

You need 120 and 106mm rings

Thanks very much for this thread and all the details. You made me want to do this, and demystified the process.
Got the smoked side reflector from Mike, and the "angel eye" rings, and did this today for the Mrs. I just used a can of hi-heat gloss black to spray the grey part.

I left the headlight in the African winter sun for 30 minutes, and then it was quite easy to open with the help of a couple of large screwdrivers and a bit of patience.
