Anyone had the same problem ? Driving up hill when heard a popping noise lost power and black smoke sat on side of the road for 5 hours before recovery they think it's turbo but not blown as very little residue , they think maybe a pipe split or come off could this be correct ?

Sounds like a blown pipe to me. Shouldnt be a big repair.

Thanks for your replies have had a call from the garage and been told near side EGR valve and covered on warranty.

After nearly 3 weeks in garage ! egr valves replaced but a head of a bolt snapped and they think is's ended up in one of the turbo's which in turn has damaged the other. so body off on Thursday to find the snapped bolt. warranty not happy they want photo's before they decide weather to pay out. Things are never run smooth.

Surely if a covered part fails and damages another part both should be repaired under warranty no questions asked.

No Update to speak of, Warranty company want photo's of turbo that the head of nut went in. been 6 weeks off road.
