If it resets when you start the car and it didn't go into limp mode then probably not an issue. My TDV8 has started doing it again, last two times required new turbos but not sure if V6 has same vari-vane turbo. Mine always seems worse after it has been sat up a while. More I drive it the less often it does it. Might be worth getting a reader on it to see what fault is recoded. Can't remember the code I had, but fault was positive pressure deviation. Probably of no help to you what do ever! Sorry. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

That does sound like limp mode. Could be having been sat up on a forecourt has gummed something up. Having just spoken to grown up, EGR is also a possibility so get code read. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Thanks Simple, I was told it just had an EGR about 3 weeks ago. Could this be faulty? Or maybe codes not cleared?

If the code wasn't cleared you would have a little arrow on left of DIS. It's a current fault if the car drops into limp mode. Get it looked at but be interested to know what code is. Mine will only do it if given full bananas but educated guess says vains on turbo are clogged up after sitting about and being allowed to idle for long periods. My first turbo went after car had sat at dealers for 6 weeks. Second after car sat at Gatwick for a month. It isn't the actual Turbo, it's the mechanism that moves the blades but it's sealed unit. Just be thankful its not a v8, I watched mine have body lifted off twice now. I do post some photos up here in@ 2008 and 9 of the body up on a two post ramp and chassis sat on floor on its own wheels. Not pretty! 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Most ODB code readers won't display Land Rover fault codes or will show that there are none recorded. EGR will bring management light on from start up. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

As already disclosed, and especially as you say you only get the fault at full throttle, it will be worse case, a turbo. The fault code for this will be positive pressure variation. But you need to get someone with a system that will read the codes. My Snapon Vendus is high tech but struggles with land rovers. Normal ODB readers won't have the correct protocols to talk to canbus system to extract info from all the different ecu's 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Isn't the EGR covered by the warranty they gave you? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
