United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Protection Detail on Scrumps's Car.

Hey Guys,

Scrumps asked me to do a Zaino protection detail on his Galway Green RRS. I have helped members with Black, Blue and more recently a silver RRS but not a Green one.

I thought I would share some photos with you of the progress as the day went on.

Heres how he arrived, I have to say Scrumps drove 90 miles to me and didnt carry out his normal weekly routine so this is why it was a bit dirtier.

Once the wheels were cleaned I progressed onto giving the car a Snow Foam.

Once it was rinsed off you could see it didnt have any protection on it, this was the reason Scrumps wanted me to get some Zaino on it for him.

Whilst the car was wet I took the opportunity to Clay it to remove bonded contaminates on the paint.

When this was done the vehicle was dried and moved inside for the protection process to take place. On further inspection the bonnet had some swirling and scratching I wasnt happy with so the choice was made to give it a quick polish. Here are the befores and afters.

Once I polished and was happy we proceeded to applying a coat of Zaino All In One and then a coat of Zaino Z-5 and followed this up with a coat of Zaino Z-8.

Here are some afters inside and the outside too.

Although it looks stunning in the last photograph, I cannot help thinking it looks rather good in the first pic, Dirty like a proper RRS 4X4 should look...

That is lovely, not seen one in green before but the RRS wears it very well.

Lovely detailing work too Thumbs Up LCFC. Receiver of threatening letters from Overfinch.

Was going to say that the first pic is how mine looks most of the time...perhaps I should get it detailed. Just once. So that it knows what it's missing! Rolling with laughter

The results in those pictures are very impressive, though. Good job! Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for the kind words guys, its really appreciated.

I know Scrumps was pretty pleased when he drove it out at the end of the day!

Oh and yes, everyone should have their RRS detailed "at least" once Wink

All the best,

John

John, how much do you charge for a detail like that? I'm guessing there's a day's work there. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
